About TechBrot

An independent bookkeeping and advisory firm, incorporated in Delaware in 2023.

TechBrot Inc. is an independent U.S. bookkeeping and advisory firm — QuickBooks cleanup and bookkeeping, payroll, and controller and fractional CFO advisory, delivered directly by TechBrot, remotely, nationwide.

§In brief

An independent firm, delivering directly.

TechBrot rebuilds QuickBooks files that are behind, broken, or no longer trusted, then keeps them clean, reconciled and ready to decide on — cleanup, catch-up and monthly bookkeeping, QuickBooks setup and migration, payroll and multi-state sales-tax records, and controller and fractional CFO advisory once the numbers can carry a decision. Every engagement is one fixed fee agreed in writing before work starts, done inside your own file, with a named Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor responsible for it, and handed to your CPA ready to file. Independent and fully remote across the U.S.; not a CPA firm and not affiliated with Intuit.

§Quick answers

TechBrot, in five questions.

What is TechBrot?

An independent U.S. bookkeeping and advisory firm — TechBrot Inc., a Delaware C-Corporation incorporated in 2023. It delivers cleanup, catch-up and monthly bookkeeping, QuickBooks setup and migration, payroll, and controller and fractional CFO advisory directly, remotely, in the client’s own QuickBooks file.

Who holds TechBrot’s QuickBooks certifications?

TechBrot’s founder. Current certifications: QuickBooks Online Level 2 and QuickBooks Payroll. Training completions: Intuit Bookkeeping and Client Advisory Services Foundations. Certification belongs to a person, not a firm, so that is how we state it; verification is available on request.

How does TechBrot deliver work — one firm or a network?

One firm, delivering directly. Every engagement is delivered directly by TechBrot and runs the same sequence, with its founder reviewing the work before it is delivered.

Does TechBrot file taxes?

No. TechBrot delivers the bookkeeping and CPA-ready books; federal and state tax filing and IRS representation are handled by your CPA or EA. When tax work is needed, we coordinate with your CPA or EA, or point you toward finding one in your state.

Who is TechBrot for?

U.S. small and mid-sized businesses that want credentialed, accountable bookkeeping and advisory — a named point of contact, fixed fees against a written scope, work inside the client’s own QuickBooks file, and founder review.

§Credentials

Credentials and training, stated exactly.

Current certifications, held by TechBrot’s founder: QuickBooks Online Level 2 and QuickBooks Payroll. • QuickBooks Online Level 1 certification badge (exam-based, issued by Intuit)
  • QuickBooks Payroll certification badge (exam-based, issued by Intuit)
  • Intuit Bookkeeping badge, Trained (a training completion, not a certification)
  • Client Advisory Services Foundations badge, Graduate (a training completion, not a certification)

The first 3 badges are exam-based Intuit certifications — QuickBooks Online (Levels 1 and 2) and QuickBooks Payroll. The last 2 are Intuit training-program badges — Intuit Bookkeeping (Trained) and Client Advisory Services Foundations (Graduate). Those are course completions, not certifications, and the artwork says so. Intuit’s ProAdvisor program becomes ProPartner Accountants in early 2027; the certifications continue.

§Our mission

Bookkeeping that’s accountable.

The U.S. small-business accounting market is large, fragmented, and structurally flawed. Most owners choose between three imperfect options: an overworked solo bookkeeper with no continuity, a remote subscription with no accountability, or an offshore team they’ll never meet. TechBrot exists to be the fourth option — named accountability (a real team running real engagements, with its founder reviewing the work) with documented standards (defined operating sequences and founder review). The result is bookkeeping that’s accountable to a real team.

§Why one standard

One firm, one standard — delivered directly.

The traditional accounting firm scales by hiring more accountants, opening more offices, and managing more people. Every additional client adds operational overhead. Quality is bounded by the firm’s ability to manage its own staff.

TechBrot scales differently: one documented standard, shared infrastructure, and one team delivering every engagement directly — with its founder reviewing the work before it is delivered.

This model works because the bottleneck in bookkeeping isn’t demand — it’s trust. Every U.S. small business needs reliable bookkeeping, and what it is missing is a firm it can trust: a standard the work is held to, a founder who reviews it, and records the business owns. That is what TechBrot is built to be.

§The operating standard

Six principles, applied to every engagement.

The same standard governs every engagement.

Named accountability.

Every engagement has a named point of contact, real credentials behind it, and a way to reach them. You know who is responsible for your engagement and how to reach them.

Fixed fees against written scope.

No hourly billing. No scope creep. Every engagement is priced in writing before work begins. Scope changes mid-engagement are documented and discussed before being executed.

The client’s file, the client’s data.

Engagements run in the client’s existing QuickBooks file. No proprietary software, no forced migration, no data lock-in. The client owns their books before, during, and after the engagement.

Founder review.

TechBrot’s founder reviews each engagement against its agreed scope before delivery — the same sequence and the same bar every time.

Continuity by design.

The work runs in your own QuickBooks file against a written scope, so the file, its history and the scope stay with you — whoever works on them, and if the engagement ends.

Independence in advice.

If a different tool fits a client’s business better, we say so. Honesty is part of the standard.

§Infrastructure & AI roadmap

Built for the next decade of bookkeeping.

Bookkeeping work has changed more in the last five years than in the previous twenty. Bank feeds, document automation, machine categorization, AI-assisted reconciliation — the tools available now are categorically different from what existed a decade ago. TechBrot is built around that shift.

The firm is engineered to give every engagement the leverage of an in-house operations team without building one for each engagement — intake automation, document handling, quality-review workflows, client communication infrastructure, and a growing layer of AI-assisted bookkeeping tooling developed in-house. The judgment stays human. The overhead shrinks.

That’s what lets a small team deliver the consistency a national subscription service tries to deliver — while keeping the named accountability subscription services can’t.

§The methodology

Every engagement runs the same sequence.

Four phases, one standard — on every engagement.

STEP 1

Diagnostic

30-minute call. We review where you are, what’s actually needed, and which engagement profile fits. A written fixed-fee scope follows within 3 business days of the call and the file information needed to quote.

Typical: 3 business days

STEP 2

Scope

Engagement scope finalized in writing — deliverables, fixed fee, and timeline. No hourly billing.

Typical: 2 business days

STEP 3

Delivery

Secure access established. Work delivered against the written scope. Communication runs through the firm’s infrastructure for documentation.

Typical: 2–10 weeks for project work

STEP 4

Review & Handoff

Founder review against the agreed scope. Documented summary delivered. Optional transition to monthly bookkeeping for ongoing partnership.

Optional: monthly engagement

§What we don’t do

Honest about scope.

If your needs fall outside TechBrot’s scope, we’ll say so on the diagnostic call — and point you toward the right kind of provider. That’s part of the standard.

Federal & state tax preparation

TechBrot does not file federal or state business tax returns. We coordinate with your CPA, EA, or tax preparer — or point you toward finding one in your state.

Financial audits

We don’t perform audits. We prepare the agreed books and supporting schedules for your audit firm’s review; we do not provide an audit or other assurance engagement.

Legal or fiduciary advice

We’re not attorneys or financial advisors. Entity structuring, equity compensation, fiduciary matters, and capital-markets advisory are coordinated with the right professional.

International accounting

TechBrot serves U.S. businesses. International entity accounting, multi-country tax compliance, and cross-border structures are outside our current scope.

§Common questions

About TechBrot, answered.

Is TechBrot a single firm or a network?
A single firm. TechBrot delivers every engagement directly, under one operating standard, and its founder reviews the work before it is delivered.
Who actually does my accounting?
TechBrot does. We identify your accountable lead before work begins and explain who performs and reviews the agreed work, with a named point of contact and a way to reach them. Every engagement meets the same firm standard.
What does TechBrot not do?
TechBrot does not file federal or state tax returns, perform financial audits, give legal or fiduciary advice, or handle international/cross-border accounting. For those, we produce the books and coordinate with your CPA, EA, auditor, or attorney — or point you toward finding one. We say so on the diagnostic call.

What happens if my operator changes?
Your books stay yours. The work runs in your own QuickBooks file against a written scope, so the file, its history and the scope stay with you whoever works on them.
